About BroadbandGauge
A free, no-friction internet speed test and network-diagnostics service.
BroadbandGauge lets anyone measure their connection — download speed, upload speed, latency and jitter — in a few seconds, on any device. The test runs against globally distributed infrastructure behind Cloudflare.
With the user's consent, BroadbandGauge also records network-performance diagnostics (such as IP-derived location, ISP/ASN and the measured results). We use this data to analyse network quality, understand ISP- and ASN-level performance patterns, and improve our reliability and diagnostics systems. This is the same value exchange offered by established speed-test platforms: a useful measurement for you, aggregate network intelligence for us.
